Newborn Care Class
Roots Doula Care presents an in depth class on understanding your newborn, helping parents adjust and explore their own parenting styles. It is suggested that parents take the class prenatally and are encouraged to attend with their partner or chosen support person.

• skin to skin

• welcoming the new member of the family
• sleeping, co-sleeping

Prenatal Breastfeeding Class
Roots Doula Care presents a breastfeeding class designed for parents who intend to breastfeed and want an in-depth look at breastfeeding. The class will equip parents with all they need to know to get breastfeeding started, established and how to breastfeed your infant as long as you wish.
It is suggested that parents take the class prenatally or in the early newborn period. Mothers are encouraged to attend with their partner or chosen support person.

• getting an effective latch
